SACRAMENTO RIVER BRIDGE SEISMIC EVALUATION & RETROFIT

Seismic evaluation, Retrofit Strategy, 100% PS&E design and construction support for seismic retrofit for a 2890ft. long streel truss bridge with a 300ft. long lift span; Seismic analyses included dynamic response spectrum, nonlinear dynamic time history analyses of the bridge and nonlinear time history rocking analyses of the towers; seismic retrofit included design of structural strengthening, base isolation and viscous dampers; Principal Engineer’s experience – work performed at SOHA Engineers.
